By The Sea, Ch. 2 Inspiration

There’s something about being near the water that awakens the senses. The way sunlight dances on the waves, salty air settling on sun-kissed skin, the effortless rhythm of days spent wandering from the shore to a tucked-away café for a late afternoon aperitivo. By the Sea is a collection born from these moments - memories collected along my travels, woven into designs that feel as timeless as the tides.
For me, travel has always been about more than just seeing new places - it’s about feeling them. I love the way certain destinations leave an imprint, shaping the way I see beauty, craftsmanship, and style. And while I love curating the perfect wardrobe for a trip, I’ve learned that accessories are what truly transform an outfit. The right piece of jewelry has a way of subtly transforming a look, carrying the essence of a place long after you’ve left.
When designing my Chapter two collection, I wanted to capture the essence of the sea - not just in form, but in feeling. Each piece reflects the quiet poetry of coastlines far and wide, the shimmer of light on the water, the delicate imprint of shells upon the shore. I was drawn to textures reminiscent of nautical ropes, luminous pearls that mirror the glow of the sun, and silhouettes that feel both organic and sculptural, like relics shaped by time and tide. A collection born from the ebb and flow of the ocean, infused with its mystery and majesty.
The Antibes Earrings channel the quiet luxury of the French Riviera, with rope detailing that nods to the marinas glistening under the sun. The Mondello Dome Earrings were inspired by a vintage find in Sicily, capturing the old-world charm of its golden shores. The Paloma Rope Earrings feel like a love letter to the Mediterranean, light as air yet bold in their presence.
For necklaces, versatility was key. The Porto Pearl Pendant, reminiscent of maritime treasures, can slip effortlessly onto the Marbella Collar - a sleek, sculptural piece with luminous pearl accents designed to be worn in multiple ways. And the Cora Collar Necklace? It’s the ultimate travel companion, a whisper of pearls cascading along the collarbone, polished yet completely effortless.
These are the pieces I reach for when packing light but dressing with intention - jewelry that tells a story, that transforms even the simplest look into something special. Whether you’re exploring new coastlines or simply dreaming of them, By the Sea is designed to bring a little bit of that magic wherever you go.
ANTIBES EARRINGS
"Antibes is a place that embodies effortless glamour - the kind that only the French Riviera can offer. The marinas lined with gleaming yachts, the sun casting golden reflections on the water, and the feeling of salt in the air all inspired this design. The rope texture is a nod to the nautical charm of the port, while the pearl and jade drops reflect the play of light on the Mediterranean. My favorite way to style these? With a crisp white linen dress or blazer and tousled hair, as if you’ve just stepped off a sailboat."
MONDELLO DOME EARRINGS
"Mondello Beach in Sicily holds a special place in my heart. There’s something about the blend of old-world grandeur and laid-back seaside charm that makes it unforgettable. I found a vintage piece during my travels that sparked the idea for this design - the sculpted dome and rope twist feel like something passed down through generations and a design detail I have woven through a few pieces in the collection. I love wearing these with a silk headscarf and oversized sunglasses for a look that’s equal parts retro and refined."
PALOMA ROPE EARRINGS
"The Paloma Rope Earrings are a love letter to the sun-drenched, carefree beauty of the Mediterranean coast - the kind that Bridget Bardot embodied. I wanted to create something that felt bold yet weightless, intricate yet effortless. The rope-like twists feel as if they’ve been shaped by the sea breeze, while the freshwater pearl adds a soft, luminous touch. These are my go-to for travel - whether with a breezy maxi dress or just a swimsuit and bare shoulders, they always make a statement."
PORTO PEARL PENDANT
"Porto’s rich maritime history and stunning coastal views made this piece come to life. I wanted to capture the elegance of seafaring tradition—something that felt like an heirloom from a time when sailors brought home treasures from the sea. The rope detailing and pearl accents feel both regal and effortless. My favorite way to style it? Layered on a long chain over a chunky knit or slipped onto the Marbella Collar for a sleek, modern edge."
CORA COLLAR NECKLACE
"I designed the Cora Collar to feel like liquid gold, with pearls that seem to dance along the neckline like drops of sea spray. It’s the kind of piece that effortlessly moves with you, whether you’re in a flowing beach dress or a structured blazer. My favorite way to wear it? Let it peek through an open button-down shirt for that perfect balance of polished and undone."
MARBELLA COLLAR NECKLACE
"The Marbella Collar is all about raw beauty - it’s not perfectly smooth, just like the sea itself. I love how its organic shape feels sculptural yet easy to wear. The freshwater pearls at the tips add a soft, luminous contrast, making it just as beautiful worn solo as it is with a pendant. My favorite styling trick? Wearing it backward with a strapless top - it’s unexpected, elegant, and a little bit daring."
